Strength Made Perfect in Weakness

Don’t worry, I’m not going to bore you with another New Year Speech/resolution. Just a quick follow up on my recent blog post about #Divine’s journey.

Although we are full of joy, gratitude and comforted that this phase of our lives has brought some form of encouragement and faith to many around us. However, I smile as I see comments  on being a strong woman. If only you really know. I am as weak as any human can be only saved by Grace. I crumble and weep and mourn and grieve but God’s strength is the reason I can face each day. I am truly experiencing his Grace and Strength first-hand through this period and I am a living witness of His love and strength.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

His grace is readily available for us all, only if we are willing to surrender our will to His. Exchanging our understanding for a trust in him. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Never relying on what you think you know. Remember the LORD in everything you do, and he will show you the right way.” This is all I can admonish us with in the new year.

The best resolution you can make is a forever resolution/commitment to Trust the Lord not just for the new year but forever.
